This winter marks the second iteration of the Skate Lending Library in the city of Toronto, a collaborative effort with Desjardin Financial Group.
Designed with the intention of inspiring and equipping individuals of all ages, including children, youth, families, and adults, to partake in the joy of skating throughout the Toronto area. The mobile lending library is strategically located at various spots across the city, providing access to skates, helmets, and skating aids for those in need, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy their skating experience.
The Skate Lending Library is an excellent initiative, benefiting those who may be new to skating, or those facing financial constraints that hinder access to necessary equipment. By providing access to equipment, this program ensures inclusivity and makes the sport of hockey truly accessible to all.
